How cohousing can make us happier | Grace Kim

    10:16

Loneliness doesn't always stem from being alone. For architect Grace Kim, loneliness is a function of how socially connected we feel to the people around us -- and it's often the result of the homes we live in. She shares an age-old antidote to isolation: cohousing, a way of living where people choose to share space with their neighbors, get to know them, and look after them. Rethink your home and how you live in it with this eye-opening talk.

Why glass towers are bad for city life -- and what we need instead | Justin Davidson

There's a creepy transformation taking over our cities, says architecture critic Justin Davidson. From Houston, Texas to Guangzhou, China, shiny towers of concrete and steel covered with glass are cropping up like an invasive species. Rethink your city's anatomy as Davidson explains how the exteriors of building shape the urban experience -- and what we lose when architects stop using the full range of available materials.

Am I not human? A call for criminal justice reform | Marlon Peterson

While behind bars, Peterson found redemption through a penpal mentorship program with students from Brooklyn. What rivers can tell us about the earths history | Liz Hajek

    11:09

Rivers are one of nature's most powerful forces -- they bulldoze mountains and carve up the earth, and their courses are constantly moving. Understanding how they form and how they'll change is important for those that call their banks and deltas home. In this visual-packed talk, geoscientist Liz Hajek shows us how rocks deposited by ancient rivers can be used as a time machine to study the earth's history, so we can figure out how to more sustainably live on it today.

  • How To Break Free From The Matrix And Go Beyond Time

    9:56

The Event Is Coming Soon - How To Break Free From The Matrix And Go Beyond Time

We have been told time is only an illusion, and yet it seems to dominate so much of our day to day lives.

Maybe we have even experienced brief glimpses of ‘timelessness’ in our meditations, in times of creative excellence, or in deep moments of love.

However, it can be so easy to get sucked back into the ‘daily grind of life’ that it leaves us wondering, how can we truly be free of time?

How do we move from experiencing ‘timelessness’ as more than just a theory?

In this article, we will explore a few questions and perspectives designed to show you how moving beyond time is not a destination, but rather a ‘point of focus’ or a state of awareness, so you can ‘make the shift’ any moment you choose.

    1) What is time? Does time actually exist?

When you think of time, what do you imagine?

For many of us, we might picture a clock face, or a calendar when we think of time.

We measure time as ‘the linear passing of moments.’ Time seems to be a way for us to coordinate with others and agree upon certain unified experiences together.

However, for as much as we seem to experience time, all we ever really experience is our perceptions of ‘the passing of time.’

For example, the past and the future never actually exist in the present moment. All that ever exists is the present moment.

We Are All Creators of This Reality! We have forgotten the divinity that is inside all of us. We are able of achieving miracles but our educational system teaches that matter is the highest there is, but we know better know don't we? Everything is energy, every emotion or situation is purely energy, we don't have senses to sense emotions, but what we do sense is energy. Ancient civilizations were very well aware of this, and they were master in harnessing and directing energy to they're will. We must reclaim this knowledge. We are not the victims of this reality, we are the creators of it. We must remember that nature's natural state is abundance! When something is lacking in the natural world the eco-system will be out of balance and will not thrive but try to survive. Original notice: As a result of receiving a copyright strike this channel will be going on hiatus shortly. If a channel receives three such strikes it is automatically deleted by YouTube. The primary purpose of my YouTube channels is the preservation of a record of historical events as reported at the time and the receipt of a copyright strike imperils that goal.

Want Me To Become Your Personal Mentor?

    15:30

Apply Now To Be Mentored By Tai Lopez!
    ▶︎▶︎▶︎ ◀︎◀︎◀︎
This video is only online until midnight (Los Angeles time) August 11th, so watch it now while you still can. Remember: Watch the entire video! It reveals how to access something I've never shared before.

This opportunity is only for people who already follow me online (i.e., this page you're on right now is NOT to be shared publicly to your friends please). I'm testing something that's never been done before.

Imagine this: What would change in your life if you had a millionaire mentor - an actual millionaire helping you step by step through life? Could they show you things about money that you had never been taught? I'm about to do just that.

I'm announcing my new test group. And giving you one chance to get in it. If you qualify to get in this special test group, I will personally mentor you 5 days a week for the next 12 weeks. And I'll have some of my millionaire friends mentor you too.

Give me the next few months and I will change your life. I'll show you how I went from having under $100 to making tens of millions of dollars per year. I'll personally mentor you on the key insider secrets that took me from a mobile home to the life of my dreams. Wealth, happiness, and most importantly freedom!

Watch this presentation now because it will be taken down on Friday, August 11 at midnight. And if you miss this you will regret missing your one big chance. I've never done this before. In the past there has been no way you could ever ask me questions directly and have me answer and mentor you.

    Until today...

  • How to Swap a Barn-Find Willys Jeep Wagon Onto a Wrangler YJ Chassis - Dirt Every Day Ep. 66

    24:42

Fred Williams’ garage-find 1961 Willys Wagon has been sitting with bad brakes and a tired drivetrain ever since a prior engine swap (Episode 37), so it was time to set that straight on this episode of Dirt Every Day presented by Tire Rack. Believe it or not, the Dirt Heads pulled out the Chevy LS V-8 to swap the entire Willys wagon onto a wrecked Wrangler YJ frame and drivetrain for a more reliable retro wheeler. The guys spend most of the show in the shop wrenching and fabricating in order to bring a cool-looking old Jeep back from the dead and prep it for summer wheeling fun.

Learn How To Become More Heroic with Matt Brown

    46:06

    — When we think of our own lives and all the chaos that surrounds us, it’s tough to imagine ourselves as superheroes. But your life doesn’t have to be perfect in order to make an impact. In fact, heroes embrace life as it is and allow God to use their circumstances to bring change to them and others. In this message at Saddleback Church, Pastor Matt Brown from Sandals Church tells us how heroes listen to truth, are quick to do what’s right, and accept full responsibility for their actions. Find out how to be more heroic by following your faith over feelings and being completely real with those around.

Bible Series X: Abraham: Father of Nations

    2:28:21

The Abrahamic adventures continue with this, the tenth lecture in my 12-part initial Biblical lecture series. Abraham's life is presented as a series of encapsulated narratives, punctuated by sacrifice, and the rekindling of his covenant with God. This seems to reflect the pattern of human life: the journey towards a goal, or destination, and the completion of a stage or epoch of life, followed by the necessity of revaluation and reconsideration of identity, prior to the next step forward. Abraham, for his part, makes the sacrifices necessary to continue to walk with God, or before God (as the terminology in this section has it). It is this decision that allows him to transcend the vicissitudes of life, and to take his role as the father of nations.
