Jiofi does not comes with the feature of supporting all SIMs but buy changing(Unlocking) the firmware we can do it.

Today, I have for you an interesting speed Test comparison on Reliance Jio 4G and JioFi 2 Wireless Hotspot Router. I have used the same SIM card on both JioFi M2 and my smartphone (OnePlus 3) and got surprisingly different speeds on the devices.

And i decided to test it out !

In our live test, we see that the sims are indeed unlocked but just for calling and not for data!
So i put the sim in Samsung A8 and i could make calls but i could not surf data in A8

So this was pending for long ...i had bought this JIOFI couple of days back and it was high time i started using it
Sad part is that whnever i inserted the nano sim in the micro sim slot , i saw no network signals for the 4G LTE and i was wondering that i had a fault device !

Anyways i finally did put it right and got the green light 4G LTE signals post which things were child's play !
Behind the battery lies the alladin's lamp's secret - i.e device id(SSID) and the password and you shall be able to use it while searching for wifi networks!

You can even connect to your system using cable /wifi and enter your admin console using the site jiofi.local.html
The default username and password is administrator
Rest things are crap and the same that we are all used to see with such admin consoles ....couldn't make much of it but who cares !

How to Unlock Airtel 4G Huawei E5573s-606 Mobile Wifi Router for any SIM Card

Get Flash code using IMEI from here

Plug usb cable to wifi and turn it on

1.Download & update Huawei_E5573s-606_Firmware_21.110.(Password= Flash code get in step 1)



2. Install driver v4



and v5



3.Restart ur PC

4.Get Huawei Code Reader From here



Run as a Admin Huawei_2015_Code_Reader.7z

5.select PC UI port

6.Detect

7.Conect

8.And Last press process

9.write hash 1 and hash 2 in a notpad with block letters with space between each two letter

10.Now download and install dot net framework 4.5

Download it manually

Now Restart your pc

11.Now download and install HuaweiCalculatorNewV4(updated)



12.Extract and open it

13.paste hash 1 and hash 2 into the boxes and click calculate

Notice: after clicking calculate do not click any thing untill
the process is finished,otherwise calculation will stop there

and ask for v4 unlock code

Connection Settings for Reliance JioFi 2

Connecting to JioFi 2 Wi-Fi hotspot is simple. The SSID (or Wi-Fi network name) and password is mentioned underneath the battery, where the SIM and microSD card slots are. However, if you want a customized Wi-Fi name and password of your choice, first connect to the Wi-Fi network and on your web browser, type and go to jiofi.local.html.

How to activate Free JIO 4G Sim?

After application submission call 18008901977 from registered mobile, number to activate device. Install JioJoin application in your mobile and call 1977 to activate mobile services such as Voice calls, Video calls, SMS, MMS etc.

How to make Voice Call on Reliance JioFi2

How can we use voice calling in this Reliance MiFi device? Whenever you connect your mobile via wifi and download app called JioJoin (only android for now) from play store it would automatically detect your Sim Card No in MiFi device and you can make calls on that app on your android mobile or tablet connected to MiFi WiFi network. So that app would be phone dialer for sim card No in MiFi device. All calls made via app would show Caller ID as that on MiFi Sim Card while all incoming calls to that MiFi Sim Card would ring the app on phone.

How to connect Reliance Jio network to Desktop Computer

Most laptop have WiFi inbuilt to connect to Jio WiFi but not desktop. To connect to desktop, your phone need something like USB WiFi Adapter if it is already not wifi enabled.

Our Review :

1) In small cities and sub-urban, Reliance Jio disappointed lot as it hardly touched 3 Mbps speeds that only sometimes in mid night when very few subscribers were on their network.
2) We found that Jio speed at daytime goes upto 2 Mbps and upto 3 Mbps at night after 11 Pm.
3) We believe there is lot of scope for improvement and Reliance Jio needs to do its home work well before launching it commercially.
4) If you leave the hotspot in one side of the house, you would not pick up the signal at the opposite side.

Note :

1) The speed of JioFi depends solely on your location. So if you live close to a Jio Tower, you will be getting good speeds.
2) You just need to charge the router and then you can use even without electricity.
3) It can connect to desktop Computer via USB cable and acts as a router.

Consideration :

1) It cannot be compared to other normal WiFi routers as it is a portable device with a built in antenna. There is no way to extend the WiFI range other than using after market WiFI extenders.
2) Reliance Jio 4G is under Beta Release as of now and hence the speed fluctuates from location to location.
3) Due to non-commercial release, Reliance Jio does not have the proper channel quota for placing the calls to other operators. Due to this reason the call-drops are very often.

Lot of people in small town are getting only 2.5 mbps downloading speed on Reliance Jio 4G networks slower than BSNL broadband before commercial launch.

Reliance Jiofi2 is best wifi internet option still even under welcome offer. As no provider gives 120GB per month free for 3 months in Rs.1999 which includes Jiofi 2 device. One can later unlock these jiofi mifi devices to use it as 4G modem whenever solution comes out.

Airtel had recently introduced a Portable Wi-Fi 4G hotspot router that would let you create your own hotspot anywhere when you require without even using an external power source. This device is surely the right bet for the people who constantly on the move and decided to take the portable 4G hotspot for a spin.

Boxed package contains portable 4G hotspot device, with USB cable to charge the device. Along with it, we will get few instruction manuals with warranty information. This device is powered up with 1500mah user replaceable battery and it will come along with boxed package.

If we frankly speaks about the design part, I was well impressed. It's not like glossy plastic, Moreover it's kind of sandstone finish. Of course, we really aren’t much bothered about it when comes to router.

The Airtel 4G hotspot router has a removable back panel just like any other cell phone and once we open that we will find a battery pack again pretty much similar to any Smartphone along with a SIM card slot. The power button will fire on the top of the device with signal strength and battery status. The battery lasts for 6 hours, on high usage, which is not bad at all.

Since it is a 4G hotspot, you can even access 2G, 3G internet via this device. If the signal indicator shows Green, you are connected to 4G LTE network. If this shows Yellow, you are connected to 3G network which is now available everywhere and Red is for 2G network.

First things first, this device is not a fully fledged WiFi router but just a personalized mobile hotspot. The speeds are excellent and are similar to the ones you get after plugging in the dongle directly to the PC. Range is good and it is good enough if you move to different places for personal meetings or when hanging out with friends.

To summarize, it's just a router where you can carry it anywhere by just powering it up. 10 users can connect to the hotspot at a time without any issues. I can say it is best when you would like to access internet at business meetings in any malls or anywhere having no internet access.
