The NASA spacecraft Voyager 1 has provided scientists on earth with a series of theory-shattering surprises. The probes Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 are now exploring the outer boundary of the Sun's domain, called the heliosphere. What the probes have encountered are not what the astronomers expected. The EU2017 Conference: Future Science -- Aug 17 - 20, Phoenix:

On August 17, 2017, The Thunderbolts Project(TM) will begin its international event, EU2017 Conference: Future Science, in Phoenix, Arizona. At the conference, speakers from a variety of disciplines, including engineering, physics, mathematics, and the life sciences will present new, groundbreaking research on the role of electricity in nature. An important speaker will be Professor Donald Scott, who has spent recent years developing his own model of the structure of a Birkeland current.

As noted in several Space News episodes, in recent years, the term Birkeland current has increasingly appeared in the scientific literature with scientists recognizing they play a role in Earthly auroras and other atmospheric phenomena. Recently, Dr. Scott’s prediction that the unique signature of Birkeland currents is their counter-rotation has been visually verified. At the Thunderbolts conference, Dr. Scott will discuss his investigation into the role of cosmic Birkeland currents and the evidence that these currents power many galaxies in deep space.

A newly discovered exoplanet poses a radical challenge to the consensus theory of planet and star formation. The massive exoplanet is eleven times the size of Jupiter yet it circles its parent star at a distance that is 650X the average distance between the Earth and the Sun. In the conventional theory, which imagines stars forming gravitationally in a collapsing cloud of gas and dust, such a giant planet cannot form at such a vast distance from its star.

Scientists using the Green Bank Telescope have observed what they describe as a river of neutral hydrogen streaming into the Galaxy NGC 6946. The researchers conclude that this tenuous filament of gas is providing the necessary fuel for the high rate of star formation in the spiral galaxy.

n August 2001 a high-altitude balloon was sent aloft to ride far above the great storms of the mid-west USA. Researchers had sent the balloon, like a Dark Rider out of Tolkien, riding into the moonless night, seeking sprites, gnomes and the ring of the elves.

A new paper published by an MIT physicist claims to theoretically prove that so-called quantum entanglement -- two particles seemingly occupying more than one state simultaneously -- gives rise to a wormhole that allows particles to communicate through a gravitational tunnel. This theory follows from a paper published earlier this year, which suggests two black holes that become entangled and then are pulled apart create a wormhole, connecting the black holes. The reasoning in these papers is purely mathematical. Wal Thornhill examines this theoretical approach.

Theoretical physics is at a crossroads right now...In a sense we've entered a very deep crisis. You may have heard of some of these models...There've been grand unified models, there've been super-symmetric models, super-string models, loop quantum gravity models... Well, nature turns out to be simpler than all of these models.

If you ask most theorists working on particle physics, they're in a state of confusion. The extensions of the standard model, like grand unified theories, they were supposed to simplify it. But in fact they made it more complicated. The number of parameters in the standard model is about 18. The number in grand unified theories is typically 100. In super-symmetric theories, the minimum is 120. And as you may have heard, string theory seems to predict 10 to the power of 1,000 different possible laws of physics. It's called the multiverse. It's the ultimate catastrophe: that theoretical physics has led to this crazy situation where the physicists are utterly confused and seem not to have any predictions at all...

What is a neutron star? Astronomers tell us that these tiny yet massively dense objects form by gravitational collapse from the remnants of a massive star that has exploded. The theoretical neutron star was invented to try to explain highly intense bursts of energy from tiny regions of space. However, no one has ever seen a neutron star. Rather, scientists infer the objects existence when interpreting energetic emissions in deep space. Does a better explanation exist in the domains of plasma cosmology and the Electric Universe?

Scientists working with the VLA telescope recently discovered something very surprising -- two bright radio spots in the globular cluster M22, which they interpret as proof of two small black holes. But the discovery does not fit with the expectations of black hole theorists.

We didn't find what we were looking for, but instead found something very surprising -- two smaller black holes, said Laura Chomiuk, of Michigan State University and the National Radio Astronomy Observatory. That's surprising because most theorists said there should be at most one black hole in the cluster, she added.

There is supposed to be only one survivor possible, said Jay Strader, of Michigan State University and the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. Finding two black holes, instead of one, in this globular cluster definitely changes the picture, he said.

In this interview, guest Tom Wilson poses reasonable questions about the very theory of black holes, and suggests we look for alternative explanations in the realm of plasma science.

FUTURE SCIENCE: that’s the theme of our sixth annual conference, EU2017. But don’t confuse this theme with science fiction.

Speakers will not be projecting popular ideas and mathematical contrivances into an imagined future. EU2017 will call for science minus the fiction. No Big Bang, no dark matter, no black hole singularities, no neutron stars, no thermonuclear core of the sun, no planets on clockwork orbits for billions of years; few if any “dirty snowball” comets; and no claim whatsoever that comets and asteroids trace to the primitive origins of the solar system (one of the more popular fictions).

This will be an Electric Universe conference, named as such because the electric force is active everywhere across the cosmos. The vastness of space is animated by a life-like sea of charged particles, called plasma, and the plasma universe is the Electric Universe.

For many newcomers to the new paradigm, the greatest discovery will be that the Electric Universe is testable. This is why so many “surprises” of the space age have animated the Electric Universe community, inspiring a global movement. According to astronomers a recently discovered group of quasars exceeds in size anything previously believed possible, requiring a fundamental revision of cosmological theory. But perhaps the real mystery is how the scientific media failed to acknowledge that discoveries of this sort were predicted by one of the 20th century's leading astronomers, Halton Arp. Many years ago, Arp observed that astronomers were misinterpreting quasar redshift, placing these objects at the boundaries of observable space. Quasars, he said, are much closer than assumed and nothing like the size required by the standard interpretation of redshift.

It's said that our universe is filled with billions of galaxies. But how far away are they? Astronomers calculate galaxies' distances by measuring their redshift. The most redshifted galaxies are said to be the most ancient and remote. But recently astronomers using the Hubble Telescope have observed galaxies that are too ancient—to close the the long-theorized Big Bang. Human beings around the world may be witnessing one of the most significant dramas in the modern history of the space sciences. The ESA’s Rosetta mission to the comet 67P has shattered the theoretical predictions of standard comet science. For many decades, we were told that comets are dirty snowballs, which formed billions of years ago, tracing back to the solar system’s origins. In contrast, the electric universe has stated for decades that comets, meteors and asteroids are materials excavated electrically from planetary surfaces. Wal Thornhill explains that the Rosetta mission has already provided a stunning confirmation of the electric comet theory.

Between May and December of 2002 a remarkable event occurred in the heavens. A previously unknown star named V838 Mon brightened spectacularly--then faded--then leaped back to life. Current theories suggest that a gamma ray burst (GRB) caused the first mass extinction on Earth, about 450 million years ago.

This sequence depicts a red giant star, approximately 6000 light years from Earth, exploding in a supernova explosion. High energy gamma rays are emitting from the poles of the star, slightly in advance of the explosion, and travel in a beam across space.

We follow the gamma rays as they travel through space and overtake the camera. At near light speeds, everything would appear warped and in front of you, with objects directly in front being blue-shifted and objects behind being red-shifted. In this, objects behind the camera are seen along the edge of the frame.

Finally, the GRB hits the solar system, passing Jupiter and then on to the Ordovician period Earth, ionizing the atmosphere and destroying the young ozone layer. Global auroras are shown to depict this, but in reality, the event would likely be invisible in daylight, other than the sudden appearance of an extremely bright star. The Gamma Ray Burst itself would only last a few seconds to a couple minutes at most, but the supernova would be visible for several days or months, even in broad daylight. In fact, at only 6000 light years away, it would be brighter than the full moon, and possibly painful to look at.

The ozone layer would quickly be destroyed, turning into nitrous oxide, more commonly known as smog, which then kicked off a global warming period. Weather patterns changed, creating super hurricanes and eventually the planet's first ice age.


The show got a major detail wrong, saying that only a couple GRBs have hit the earth. In fact, an average of 2 of these are detected by satellites every DAY. All of them are from very distant galaxies, where they pose no threat to us. And those are only the ones that we can see since only about 10% of the stars out there have one of their poles pointed in our general direction.

This month on Space News, we reported on a recent study that confirms electrostatic dust transportation occurs on airless bodies in space, including comets, asteroids and moons. Nevertheless, few astronomers today consider electrical effects on comets or asteroids when attempting to explain the still mysterious behaviors of these bodies. This may be evidenced in recently published scientific research into a newly discovered active asteroid, called P/2016 G1. In this episode, we explore the possible electrical nature of the asteroid’s comet-like dust emissions.

Meteorologists tell us that the unstable air in a thunderstorm produces updrafts and downdrafts, which interacts with a wind shear to ultimately create a tornado vortex. But many scientists acknowledge that the exact processes that cause a tornado remain mysterious. In recent Space News episodes, Thunderbolts contributor Andrew Hall has explored the electrical genesis of lightning and other earthly weather phenomena. Scientists studying the mysterious sand dunes of the Saturnian moon Titan are reporting that electrostatic forces may play a significant role in configuring the dunes’ puzzling shapes. A Scientific American article reports the team’s findings as follows:” …” winsome scientists are suggesting a shocking solution to these backward-facing drifts: They may be sculpted not only the wind but also by electrostatic forces.”

Geologists estimate that Mercury's iron core occupies about 42% of its volume and it has a large magnetic field, for Earth this iron core proportion is 17%. Earth however is denser overall.

Mercury's core has a higher iron content than that of any other major planet in the Solar System. Mercury's core makes it the most iron-rich planet in the solar system, with iron accounting for 65-70% of the planet's mass. This should allow us from Earth to see unprecedented Magnetic Field interactions between Comet ISON, Mercury and our Sun.

Oct. 1st to Oct. 3rd comet ISON passed within 6-7 million miles of the north pole of Mars. It will pass above Earth on Dec. 26, approaching within 42 million miles.

Distance of planets from the Sun: Mars 146 million miles, Mercury 32 million, Earth 92 million.

Thoughts

The shutdown of the U.S government, and the unprecedented lockdown of national sites, many of them privately owned, free and not even related to the Federal government coupled with the fact that you see both political parties in Washington D.C. stalemating the issue it is starting to show what is happening if you will look closer.

If the dollar folds there will chaos, and people will be more worried about losing their life savings than looking to the planets for signs of electrical chaos. Riots during a worldwide economic collapse will ensue and the police and armies of our world's countries can control the citizenry.

They are locking down paths, national parks, driveways, parking lots, highways through national parks (Some not all).

We saw what ISON did to Mars when it passed. It caused the entire planet to glow with plasma. Electrically charged particles even discharged from Mars and shot into space. Is it possible that if our Earth gets charged from ISON we could suddenly find ourselves on parts of our globe without power.

Preemptive messages to prepare would panic the public. Law and order would break down almost instantly along with the economy. Who would work? All savings would be withdrawn to buy items which would run out within the first week of panic buying, long before the event actually happened. Economic meltdown is a far easier way to keep order until the last minute.

We will know within a month when November 12-18th, 2013.

This added segment addresses the strongest critical comment we've received on the documentary: failure to mention the infrared readings of water in the Deep Impact ejecta.
