  • Organelles of a Prokaryotic cell

    1:02

This video was created by high school juniors James Wills and Sarah Lim, it details the prokaryotic cell and its parts.

Cells and Their Organelles is one of two 3D animations created by James (JB) Wills and narrated by Sarah Lim, two high school juniors. The videos were created for a Capstone Project at Clarksburg High School using several different professional software packages and comprised over 200 hours of work. The project started with a story board for the production and each cell had to be drawn and animated and narration had to be overlaid in the final production. It is being used for instructional purposes by AP Biology classes at Clarksburg High School. If any student or teacher uses this video to help them learn this subject matter, please leave a comment below. © 2010 James Wills and Sarah Lim

Old & Odd: Archaea, Bacteria & Protists - CrashCourse Biology #35

    12:17

Hank veers away from human anatomy to teach us about the (mostly) single-celled organisms that make up two of the three taxonomic domains of life, and one of the four kingdoms: Archaea, Bacteria, and Protists. They are by far the most abundant organisms on Earth, and are our oldest, oddest relatives.
